The Association of Charitable Organisations
The Association of Charitable Organisations (ACO) and its members do incredible, life-changing work every single day. But doing great work doesn’t automatically mean people know about it.
The ACO needed to step out of the shadows and onto the national stage. They asked us to build a PR campaign that would shine a massive spotlight on their members, getting their stories into the press and out across digital screens nationwide.
Sparking a nationwide conversation A quiet, slow-burn campaign simply wasn’t going to cut it. We needed to make some serious noise, fast.
Instead of trickling out news over months, we orchestrated a highly focused nationwide blitz. We dug into the real, human impact of the ACO’s members and pitched those compelling stories to journalists. At the same time, we hit digital channels hard with content designed to stop people scrolling and start them reading.
Our goal was simple: make the ACO impossible to ignore.
Results
When the campaign launched, it exploded. Our charity PR team crammed a whole month’s worth of social media impressions into a single, frantic 24-hour window.
In just one week, we secured more than 60 media hits. Altogether, that created 8 million opportunities to see the campaign. To put that into perspective, that’s enough eyeballs to put the ACO’s message in front of almost every single person living in London.
