Integrated PR services for SaaS, from seed to scale

We’re an award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) PR agency that’s worked with loads of SaaS companies, from fast-growth start-ups, to recruitment and accountancy giants like Bullhorn and Xero.

Whether you’re trying to get noticed for the first time or protect hard-won ground in a mature software category, Definition brings the integrated PR, content and digital expertise to make it happen.

We support B2B software businesses at every stage of growth, building the kind of trust, visibility and thought leadership that moves the needle commercially. We know the media, we understand the technology, and we speak fluent SaaS. No handholding required.

SaaS PR that cuts through

SaaS is a crowded space and buyers are smart. They’ve seen every pitch, every “revolutionary platform”, every “game-changing solution”. What cuts through isn’t noise. It’s clarity, credibility and showing up consistently in the right places.

That’s what we build.

Our approach

Lots of agencies just do one thing. We do all of it, and we make sure it all connects. A media hit feeds an SEO content piece. A thought leadership article becomes a social campaign. Everything earns its place in the funnel.

We know the metrics your board cares about and we build programmes around them. Our work is always tied to something commercial – it isn’t just a coverage report.

We plan around your big moments well in advance. A product launch or a new market entry deserves a proper campaign, not a last-minute press release nobody reads.

Your buyers are searching for answers to their problems long before they go looking for software. We get your brand and spokespeople into those conversations through thought leadership, targeted media coverage and content that has a genuine point of view.

Whether you’re in fintech, HR tech, martech, AI, or data management, we know the media, the analysts and the competitive dynamics in each. You won’t spend half your onboarding explaining what your product does.

Our SaaS PR services

We’ve spent years building relationships with the journalists, editors and analysts who cover the SaaS and tech space. When you have something to say, we know exactly who needs to hear it.

Explore B2B PR and media relations

Blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, explainer content. We write about complex SaaS topics in a way that’s genuinely useful to your audience and works hard for your search rankings too.

Explore B2B content marketing

We help SaaS businesses show up when their buyers are searching. That means technical foundations, smart content strategy and digital PR that earns traffic worth having.

Explore B2B SEO

As AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity change how buyers find information, GEO (which we call “AI visibility”) is about making sure your brand shows up in those answers, not just traditional search results.

Explore AI visibility

Consistent, well-positioned social content that builds a recognisable voice in your category and keeps your brand front of mind with the right people.

Explore B2B social media

Buyers buy from people they trust. We build the profiles of your founders, leaders and subject matter experts through media coverage, thought leadership and speaking opportunities. And we call it Brand You.

Explore executive profiling

Sharp spokespeople make a real difference. We prepare your executives to handle interviews, difficult questions and high-stakes moments with confidence.

Explore media training

When something goes wrong, the first few hours matter most. We help SaaS businesses prepare for reputational risk and respond quickly and clearly when it counts.

Explore crisis comms

Your people are your biggest advocates. We help SaaS businesses communicate clearly with their teams during periods of growth, change or transformation.

The signs you need award-winning SaaS PR

Your product is strong. The market just doesn’t know it yet. For a lot of SaaS businesses, that’s the gap.

Here are the challenges we hear most from the marketing and PR leads we work with.

You sound like everyone else

The SaaS market is full of products solving similar problems with nearly identical messaging. If your positioning feels a bit “so what”, that’s a sign your story needs work. We help you find the angle that makes you genuinely distinctive, whether that’s your founding vision, your product philosophy or the specific niche you own better than anyone.

Your buyers are doing their research and you're not showing up

Enterprise SaaS sales cycles are long. Buyers Google vendors before they respond to outreach, read third-party coverage before they book a demo and look for proof that you’re credible before they’ll even take a call. A strong, consistent media presence builds that familiarity well before your sales team gets involved.

Your product launch landed with a thud

Most SaaS launches underperform not because the product is weak, but because the story is too technical and the narrative is missing. Journalists and buyers don’t care about features. They care about what’s changing in their world and why your product matters right now. We build launch campaigns around that.

Complex technology, unclear value proposition

If it takes three paragraphs to explain what your platform does, something needs untangling. We work with technical SaaS teams to strip the complexity back and find the clear, compelling articulation of what you do, who you do it for and what changes when they use it.

You're spending heavily on paid, but organic authority is thin

Paid acquisition gets more expensive over time. SaaS businesses with strong earned media, genuine thought leadership and healthy organic search presence consistently see better conversion rates and lower cost-per-acquisition across all their channels. PR isn’t a cost. It’s infrastructure.

Your founders and executives are invisible

In B2B SaaS, people buy from people they recognise and respect. If your competitors’ leaders are all over LinkedIn, the trade press and industry events and yours aren’t, that’s a gap that compounds over time. We build executive profiles that translate into real commercial credibility.

Why work with Definition?

We’re a specialist B2B tech PR team that sits inside a full-service brand, marketing, and comms agency. Here’s what that means for you.

The full toolkit, under one roof

Need a brand video to support a product launch? A design refresh for your sales deck? A tone of voice overhaul before you enter a new market? Our wider group covers all of it. You get specialist SaaS PR expertise with the option to pull in exactly the right resource when the brief calls for it.

We're globally connected

We’re UK-based, but SaaS businesses rarely stay in one market for long. Through trusted agency partners across Europe and North America, we support clients as they expand into new territories, making sure their PR and communications travel well.

Industry-recognised, independently verified

We’re one of PRWeek’s top 10 B2B agencies for 2026. We mention it not to boast, but because independent recognition matters when you’re choosing who to trust with your brand.

AI-enabled, not AI-dependent

We have a dedicated AI team and a proprietary platform, Definition AI, that makes our work faster, smarter and better informed. But the thinking, the strategy and the writing is still done by people who know your sector inside out. We use AI as a tool, not a shortcut.

Katy Bloomfield 2

I’m Bronwen, Global Client Service Director at Definition. I lead on PR strategy with experience across Africa, the UK and EMEA. I bring a global perspective to PR strategy and understand how narratives need to flex across different markets.

I’m Katie, as Head of Media Relations at Definition, I build relationships while creating stories that land. I’ve worked in PR and communications for more than 10 years. I started my career working exclusively with cyber security companies and have since stayed in B2B but work with a broader set of companies.

I have high value relationships with key stakeholders, lead on ideation for effective, creative PR campaigns and advise on the most effective media relations channels (e.g. LinkedIn, podcasts, newsletters, broadcast etc.) with data to back-up claims.

I love working on CEO and company profile pitching because it gives me the opportunity to interview really interesting people. Over the course of my career, my approach has landed interviews for clients with BBC, BBC Click, Wired, The Next Web, The Times, The FT, and more. I also spend a lot of time working on the exact wording of survey questions, which have landed with nationals and a whole host of trade publications over the years.

FAQs about SaaS PR

Not at all. Some of the most important PR work happens early, when you’re establishing your positioning, building your founding story and getting your name in front of the right people for the first time.

The key is finding an agency that knows how to work efficiently at that stage and set realistic expectations about what good looks like. We’ve worked with SaaS businesses from pre-launch through to funding rounds and beyond.

Honest answer: it depends on what you’re measuring. A well-planned product launch campaign can generate coverage within weeks. Building genuine category authority and improving organic search visibility takes longer, typically six to twelve months of consistent activity. PR compounds over time. The businesses that see the strongest results are the ones that treat it as a long-term investment rather than a short-term fix.

We track a mix of metrics depending on what matters most to your business. Share of voice against competitors, volume and quality of media coverage, organic search visibility, referral traffic from earned media, and contribution to pipeline where we can measure it. We’re not interested in vanity metrics. The reporting we build is tied to what your board actually cares about.

Yes. We’re UK-based but work with trusted agency partners across Europe and North America to support SaaS businesses as they expand internationally. Whether you’re entering a new market for the first time or managing a coordinated global launch, we can put the right structure in place to make sure your story travels.
